If you’re short on time in the morning but want to get your day off to a good start then here is a 10 minute morning yoga routine you can do without even getting out of bed.
Here’s three reasons to give it a go:
1. You will breathe easy for the whole day
Your breath is intimately related to so many internal functions in your body as well as how you stand, move and feel. If you start your day breathing right then you’re more likely to breathe optimally for the rest of the day.
2. It encourages you to be healthy all day
If the first thing you do in the morning is drink a cup of coffee and have a bowl of sugary cereal it is extremely likely the rest of your day will be full of caffeine highs and sugar crashes. 3. It creates a calm mindset for the whole day
If you practice yoga regularly, you’ll probably recognise the feeling of calm and peace enveloping you throughout the practice. Like a big bubble or relaxation that makes it feel like you’re floating for the rest of the day. Do 10 minutes of yoga in the morning and you create a calm mindset for the rest of the day.
